Bang & Strike is an independent UK men's underwear store founded in 2006 — one of the first online retailers in the country dedicated exclusively to designer briefs, boxers, jockstraps and thongs.

Twenty years on, we're still independent. Still curated. Still obsessed with fit, fabric and design.

Where It Started

In 2006, founder Mat — a womenswear designer who had worked in New York and Milan — returned to the UK and spotted a gap. Men's underwear in Britain was boring. The good stuff existed, but nobody was bringing it here.

The first order was £200 worth of underwear, sold from a bedroom on eBay. It sold out in a week. A second order of £400 followed immediately.

From that start, Bang & Strike grew into a full warehouse operation with a dedicated team, reaching annual turnover approaching £1.5 million at its peak.

First to Bring the Best Brands to the UK

Bang & Strike was among the first UK retailers to stock brands that would go on to define the category globally — including Pump!, Modus Vivendi, Teamm8, Andrew Christian and Addicted. At a time when designer men's underwear barely existed as a retail category in Britain, we helped build it.

From Banglads to Bang & Strike

Launched as Banglads.com in 2006, the brand became Bang & Strike in 2010 — reflecting a broader vision and a sharper aesthetic direction.

Then in 2019 came the most deliberate move yet. After years of curating international brands, we shifted focus toward developing our own label and refining a stronger, more cohesive identity. Greater creative control over product design, photography and brand direction.

It wasn't a retreat. It was a sharpening.

Strike Pro is our flagship own-label collection. Performance fabrics, athletic fits, clean branding — everything we've learned across two decades distilled into underwear designed and developed by us. Premium quality at a price that doesn't require justification.
